In 1993 Crossland Construction Company, Inc. decided to venture into a new segment of the construction market enhancing their capabilities and increasing their competitive edge. The result was the establishment of Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. in March of 1993. Our first projects at Crossland Heavy consisted of bridge projects, plant work and smaller civil projects.
Based at the Crossland corporate office we worked primarily in the Southeast Kansas and Southwest Missouri areas. After building up the Crossland Heavy labor-force and job capabilities we moved on to larger projects and expanded our work range in to northeast Oklahoma to the Tulsa metropolitan area. Having earned a strong reputation as a quality contractor we introduced a Tulsa team in 2002 and opened our new office with Crossland Construction in 2003. We have expanded our range into Northwest Arkansas as the contracting work has grown tremendously over the past few years.
Over the past years we have been able to complete a strong fleet of equipment enabling us to have the capability to complete a variety of project types. Crossland Heavy currently owns dozens of pieces of equipment; including dozers, excavators and dumptrucks.
Celebrating our 10 year anniversary in 2003, this employee-owned company is proud to have been difference-maker in the growth of the four-state area.
